Custom Rectangle Patches

Custom rectangle patches provide a straightforward layout for names, horizontal logos and identification panels. The ratio of width to height is as important as the total size when the design contains text.

Set proportions around the content

A long wordmark needs a different rectangle from a two-line name panel. Keep margins around the lettering and reserve room for the edge. Rectangle embroidered patches should be reviewed at actual size so the longest line stays legible without crowding.

Specify corners and the border

Rounded and square corners change both appearance and edge options. A thick border can dominate a small rectangular logo patch. Share the outline of an existing panel if the replacement must fit a uniform or piece of equipment exactly.

Coordinate sets and variants

Use a consistent outside size for a set of custom rectangular patches, then balance each text variation within it. List quantities by name or design. For removable panels, specify the receiving loop area and whether matching backing components are required.

Questions about custom rectangle patches

Can I match an existing name panel?

Provide its exact width, height and corner shape, ideally with a photograph or sample.

Should I use one line or two?

That depends on the available area and viewing distance. Compare layouts at full size before approving small lettering.
