Custom Name Patches

Custom name patches make personal identification easy to read on uniforms, workwear and gear. A clear typeface and consistent layout matter more than squeezing decorative detail into a narrow panel.

Design a readable name panel

Choose a high-contrast combination and allow space around the lettering. The longest name in a set should guide the layout so shorter names do not look oversized. Embroidered name patches provide a familiar uniform finish; woven construction may suit smaller text when space is limited.

Match the attachment to the uniform

Name patches for uniforms can be sewn permanently or made removable with hook and loop. Measure existing panels carefully, including rounded corners or border allowance. For name patches for jackets and hats, check the usable space and avoid seams that interrupt the backing contact.

Prepare a clean personalization list

Supply names exactly as they should appear, including capitalization, punctuation and accents. Separate each name from its quantity and role or department line. Review the entire list alongside the proof: approving one sample name does not verify every spelling in the order.

Questions about custom name patches

Can I include a role below the name?

Yes. Share both lines and the available dimensions so lettering can be kept readable.

Can different names share one patch design?

A consistent layout can be used across a name list. Confirm quantities, text changes and any setup requirements in the quote.
